The use of technology in teaching has increased significantly and the conventional classroom now can be replaced by providing online teaching-learning.  Most of the platforms of online learning focus only on giving assignments and works instead of giving teaching material.  Thus, in the teaching and learning process, the students' autonomous learning are not built. In this study, flipped classrooms were the model of online learning used replacing the role of students and teachers in the teaching and learning process and to see how it affected the learners' autonomy. The flipped classroom approach stated to be a shift of the responsibility from teacher to students, thus the students were not passive participants in the classroom and they were given the opportunity to develop their own autonomy in learning. This study aimed to describe the potential and pitfalls of applying flipped classroom as a teaching model in the teaching and learning process. The researchers employed a qualitative research design and the data was collected through an interview and Learner Autonomy Questionnaire. The system logs used in flipped classrooms was also taken as a triangulation data

This research is motivated by the importance of the modernization of the implementation of learning in the education system within the university. The existence of various limitations of human resources, study space, and time to face-to-face causes the learning process to experience various obstacles to achieve optimal results. Learning in the form of Hybrid learning is one of several alternative efforts to improve the quality and quantity of the lecture process. Through learning by using Hybrid learning, students and lecturers can interact in learning across distances, time and space. The objective of this research was to obtain an overview of the Hybrid learning model to improve digital literacy of students in the learning process. The data obtained from this study were the results of document analysis, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The sources of this study were students of the English Language Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences, Pakuan University who were registered as active students for the 2018/2019 school year. The stages of research were observation, instrument calibration, research, evaluation, data analysis, revision of research results, dissemination of results, and reporting. The result of the research showed that the students' digital literacy was improved through the process of hybrid learning

The purpose of this study is to find causative construction in Indonesian and English in the novel Laskar Pelangi and the translation of The Rainbow Troops by Andrea Hirata, analyse and examine in depth the equivalence and grammatical incompatibility of the translation of the causative construction, and describe the shift in grammatical equivalence of the translation of causative constructs from Indonesian into English. The method used in this study is content analysis with a qualitative approach. This method is used to find facts about grammatical equivalence in the form of causative construction. The shift in the word level occurs at a higher level, namely the phrase, at the phrase level there is no shift, and at the level of the clause, there is a shift at a lower level, namely the phrase or higher level, namely the main clause and sentence. In the sentence level, the shift occurs in the type of sentence, into sentences that are wider or smaller, or into clauses. The novelty in this research is the grammatical equivalence of causative constructs in translation and its shift from Indonesian into English

The data of the research was gathered through administering questionnaire and conducting focused group discussion. The instruments were designed to find the answer of the following question, i.e., to what extend does peer assessment activity using Moodle-based workshop empower learning autonomy? Peer assessment activity was applied in Text Based Structure Class focusing on the topic about English Clauses. Autonomous learning indicators that become the focus of this research are: a) determining the objectives, b) defining the content and the progress of learning, c) selecting appropriate methods and techniques, d) monitoring the applied techniques methods, and e) evaluating what has been achieved. The findings of this study reveal that peer assessment activity by using Moodle-based workshop can promote learners autonomy. It is also discovered that the learners are able to learn from the exchanging inputs activities with their peers and most importantly they can access and review the inputs anywhere and anytime they desire

Writing is a difficult skill to be taught. Students have problems especially in essay writing. They feel afraid to write their ideas and make errors and mistakes. This research aimed to find out the use of scaffolding techniques on students ability to write an essay. The research was conducted at the English Language Education Study Program of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences, Pakuan University. There are 12 students from fourth semester as the participants. In this research, pre-experimental methods with one group pre-test and post-test designs are used. Written test is given to measure students ability to write an essay. The data are analysed using the t-test formula. According to the data analysis, the mean of the difference was 19,75. Furthermore, the t-test value is 7,78. Meanwhile, t-table value is 2,20 at significant level 0,05 with degree of freedom (df) is 11. It shows that the t-test value is higher than the t-table value (7,78 more than 2,20). It means that an alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. In conclusion, the result shows that scaffolding technique is effective to be applied

This research aimed to find out the students’ perception and challenges in lteaching and learning process through Pow Toon software. Qualitative data are gained from classroom observation, questionnaire, and interview. The qualitative data are analysed by assembling the data, coding the data, comparing the data to the theory, building interpretations, and reporting the outcomes. The result of the research shows the students' perceptions of learning through this kind of software and describes the challenges found by both the teachers and the students. Thus, it is also found out that learning by using animation video also make a learning process more interesting. However, one of the challenges that the students found in learning through the animation video from Pow Toon software is the motion of the animation itself that distract students’ concentration; therefore, the teachers who will use the media should consider best instructional technique in the teaching and learning process. In addition, the duration when the explanation on the video is too fast. So they need to extra concentrate to the material itself. Yet, the use of digital media in teaching and learning process is one of innovative ways and it is a necessity for the millenium era
